SBV-Wahlen 2026 Gemeinsam für mehr Teilhabe im Betrieb

Im Oktober und November 2026 werden die Schwerbehindertenvertretungen (SBV) neu gewählt. Eine SBV macht sich für gute, barrierefreie Arbeit und gleichberechtigte Teilhabe stark. Neu- und Wiedergewählte unterstützt die IG Metall mit Bildung, Beratung und einem starken Netzwerk.

Ausbilder in der Fachrichtung Elektroniker bei der Dillinger Hütte in Dillingen. Zusammen mit drei Kollegen bildet er am Standort im saarländischen Dillingen junge Menschen aus: Pro Lehrjahr begleitet er bis zu 20 Auszubildende durch die dreijährige Ausbildung und führt sie zu den Abschlussprüfungen.

Schwerbehindertenvertretung Sicher durch BEM und schwierige Gespräche

Wenn Beschäftigte krank werden oder Unterstützung brauchen, sind Betriebsrat und Schwerbehindertenvertretung besonders gefragt. Das Seminar der Betriebsrätebildung BBS vermittelt Ende September, wie BEM-Verfahren gut begleitet werden und Gespräche auch in schwierigen Situationen gelingen.

Schwerbehindertenvertreter*innen (SBV) Aktionen gegen Barrieren zum Tag der Menschen mit Behinderungen

Am 3. Dezember haben Kolleginnen und Kollegen aus dem SBV-BR Netzwerk Berlin-Brandenburg-Sachsen ein klares Zeichen gesetzt: Inklusion ist kein „Nice to have“, sondern ein Grundrecht.

Eine SBV wird in Betrieben ab fünf Schwerbehinderten und ihnen gleichgestellten Beschäftigten gewählt. Sie besteht aus einer Vertrauensperson sowie einer beziehungsweise einem oder mehreren Stellvertreterinnen und -stellvertretern.

Rund 85 Prozent aller in der SBV Aktiven sind bei uns Gewerkschaftsmitglied, weil wir uns für die Belange behinderter Menschen am Arbeitsplatz stark machen: Für mehr Inklusion, mehr Barrierefreiheit und bessere Arbeitsplätze für Menschen mit Handicaps.
